Who is Trolley on Main?

Trolley on Main is based in Historic Downtown Jasper, Alabama and is a family owned business that launched in 2022. Debbie Young Sanders and Iris Sanders Jarvis, owners of Young Jewelers, are a mother / daughter team who started the business to provide a unique wedding experience for their Young Jewelers clients. Trolley on Main is a fitting way to make your wedding day magical and extraordinary. When purchasing your engagement ring at Young Jewelers you have priority and special pricing with trolley reservations. Just like your one-of-a-kind love story, we can perfectly tailor your day with Trolley on Main!

Our clean, comfortable interior setup of the trolley provides a social environment, conductive for conversation and fun! Rather than using a standard bus / limo service, our unique and nostalgic trolley stands out on the streets!

The idea for the company Trolley on Main took root just before our 75th anniversary at Young Jewelers. We wanted to incorporate a new chapter in the “forever business”. Adding our newest member, Trolley Tom, created a new level of "The Young Jewelers Experience".

Things you should know when booking your event:

Our minimum reservation is 3 hours. 

Trolley can only travel within a 20 mile radius, with a maximum of 3 stops.

Reservations made within 72 hours of event will incur a service charge of $50

Trolley on Main reserves the right to cancel any scheduled events due to weather conditions or mechanical issues. These event will be rescheduled within the year.

How many passengers can your trolley accommodate?

Our trolley can accommodate up to 20 passengers.

Can we decorate the trolley before the event?

Of course! You are welcome to decorate the trolley to best fit your event!

Can children ride the trolley?

Passengers under 5 years of age must have a guardian or parent present at all times. 

How far in advance should we book the trolley?

We request that reservations be made 2 months in advance. We understand that things happen, and if you are needing to make a reservation within 72 hours a $50 service fee will be added to your booking.

How long should we rent the trolley for if it's for a wedding?

Our standard rental time is 3 hours. If you would like additional time it will be a charge of $150 per hour.

 

Can the trolley go on an Interstate?

Your trolley route cannot include an interstate and is only allowed within a 20 mile radius of downtown Jasper.

Does your trolley have music on board?

Trolley on Main lets you be the DJ! Our trolley comes with a sound system that allows you to connect your smart phone, and a PA system for your party announcements.

Is the gratuity included in your rates?

Gratuity is not included in your reservation rate. 

Who drives the trolley?

Our driver holds a current CDL Class-B, participates in random DOT drug and alcohol screenings, and is subject to a background check.

Are drinks and food items allowed on the trolley?

Food is not allowed on board. We do allow drinks. We require that only plastic containers are used on board. Trolley on Main will provide cups, a cooler, ice and water.

We do not supply any alcoholic beverages. Anyone onboard the trolley consuming alcohol must be of legal age (21 years old).

Per ABC policy alcohol brought onto the trolley must remain onboard at all times. Please drink responsibly!

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept card, cash or check. A credit card is required to book and initial deposit. Your card information will be held, and charged after our team confirms your date & time. We also reserve the right to charge your credit card for any damages or additional clean up. Final payment is due when your event is confirmed. 

Is the trolley available all year round?

Trolley on Main will be available year round, but will have limited availability during the holidays.

Is there a limit on how many stops we can make with the trolley?

Trolley on Main allows for up to 3 stops during your trolley ride.

Trolley on Main terms and conditions

Full payment is due once booking is confirmed. Trolley on Main reserves the right to stop your trolley ride at any moment due to misconduct. Trolley rides may be rescheduled due to weather or mechanical issues, and will be rescheduled within the year. You will be charged a $50 cleaning fee for any spills or messes left behind, and a damage fee of at least $250 for any major damages. Cancellation Policy: You will receive a full refund if canceled more than 2 weeks prior to event, a partial refund within 2 weeks of your event, and any cancellations within 48hrs of event will not receive a refund.
